Easy Salsa Recipes

Easy salsa recipes are some of my favorites.
If you have ever asked yourself, “Self, what was the best thing before sliced bread? Well now you know what the answer is, SALSA. Especially easy slas recipes.

“Salsa is the Spanish word for sauce. It refers to a condiment, a mixture of chopped vegetables, fruits and seasonings that may be cooked or raw. Is normally chopped and not pureed, and is a side to a main dish. The main ingredients in easy salsa recipes are tomatoes, garlic, onions and chiles. Salsas are thicker and chunkier than picante sauces.

What a delicious way to add spark to any meal, salsa. There are an infinite number of easy salsa recipes, home made salsa, canning salsa, tomato salsa, fruit salsa, etc.

Salsa has become the best selling condiment in North America recently putting ketchup out of the top selling spot.

Salsas that are home made are often like the cook, from mild to tangy to pungent to rich.

Salsas can be fresh, cooked or bottled.

Salsas and tortilla chips, in some Southern Restaurants, are brought to the table as soon as the guests are seated. Homemade salsa is my favorite, since you can make it to your own taste.

Canning salsas are easy salsa recipes to master, and makes it readily available for a quick dinner or snack. Try it on beans, grains, veggies and meat. It adds zest to everything.

Easy salsa recipes are popular because they are low in cholesterol, fat, and calories and partly because they add zest and variety to otherwise plain fare. Zippy as you like.

A warning; wear gloves when preparing hot peppers and avoid eye contact.

I will include easy salsa recipes and some salsa canning recipes. Experiment, it’s easy and fun to make your own homemade salsa. Salsa was invented when an old Aztec Warrior “Sal” Aztell returned home from the wars with the Incas and discovered his sack of tomatoes, onions and cilantro had been chewed up by a little possum that snuck into his knapsack. After barbecuing the possum he tried the mixture on the meat and his wife said “Sal SA how’s it taste?” ---Joke

Sorry about the corny jokes, I’m a frustrated comic.
